Kristy joined the Behavior Basics team first as a Registered Behavior Technician and grew into her current position as Director of Operations. Kristy grew up in a small town in East Tennessee with a large family.  Kristy has a BA in Hospitality and Tourism and her professional background spans from owning multiple businesses, to management and consulting positions with private commercial companies. Kristy joined the BBI team with over 17 years of expertise and experience in specialized logistics, project management, customer service, and business operations and has built her reputation on leading each market she has worked in. This training allowed her to learn different management styles and theories, how to use problem-solving skills to effectively communicate with co-workers and how to use financial tools for targeted objectives. While working in these industries she focused on building trust-based relationships and developed a love for helping people improve their lives. Her passion remains to help others and put good into the world.

Kristy found Behavior Basics where she obtained her RBT and learned about the field of applied behavior analysis and became quite skilled with claims, billing, and the private insurance sector. While helping people has been a great motivator in her life, her background and experience supports this mission as part of the executive leadership team at Behavior Basics. She is passionate about developing talent and fostering a culture of diversity. Kristy plays a key leadership role in all aspects of the company’s business and strategic operations serving as a liaison, she is responsible for insurance panels, program’s oversight, human resources, growth, and overall welfare of employees as well as customer satisfaction and loyalty.
