is a private agency in Florida that developed a clinically intensive parent education program in 2009 and this program is designed through ABA concepts and principles. Our parent education programs reach hundreds of families each year and work diligently to restore protective capacities for people involved in the child welfare system of care, those experiencing current or historical mental health issues and/or substance abuse/misuse, and specific programs to promote safety and wellbeing of children ages 0-5. Our mission in providing these services to at risk families is to keep children in home with their families, reducing the cost of out of home care, and supporting positive and peaceful environments for all children.
RMF: Refocusing the Modern Family
This program is appropriate for caregivers of children who present with behavioral concerns and/or mental health diagnoses. This can also apply to families who are experiencing any of a variety of social stressors (child welfare involvement, economic difficulty, family tension, and history of abuse or neglect in their childhood).
HABIT: Holistic Approach to Behaviorally Intensive Treatment
This program follows a similar model as RMF and is specifically prescribed for caregivers who experience their own mental health issues that are currently or historically interfering with their daily life.
FIRST: Family Intensive Recovery Support and Treatment
This program follows a similar model as RMF and is specifically prescribed for caregivers who experience past or present substance abuse/misuse that are currently or historically interfering with their daily life.
SafeCare: 0-5, Health, Safety, Interaction Training
This program is an evidence-based training program for parents who are at risk or have been reported for child abuse and neglect. SafeCare services are targeted to families that have one or more risk factors, including substance abuse, domestic violence, teen parents, parents of special needs children, single parents and low income families through at home parent education and training. The program is a collaborative program between Hibiscus Children’s Center and Behavior Basics, Inc.

It is a great course. I would highly recommend it to my colleagues. I love the videos and the layman language that are used with training parents and practitioners.

Karin is an excellent presenter and incredibly hard worker! As a leader, she motivates her employees, yet, is also able to be a "team" player herself. I thoroughly recommend her!
