Mr. Arroyo joined Behavior Basics, Inc. in January 2026, bringing more than 25 years of experience in disability services to support the organization’s operational and onboarding functions. His current role includes facilitating new-hire onboarding, auditing insurance claims, coordinating with insurance providers, and supporting administrative and human resources processes.
Prior to joining BBI, Mr. Arroyo spent 26 years with Helping Hands, Inc. (HHI), where he served in a wide range of clinical and administrative roles supporting adults and children with disabilities. His experience includes care coordination, direct support in supported living environments, behavior support, and ongoing collaboration with families and support coordinators. He also oversaw key operational functions such as human resources, service billing, and Medicaid audit processes for both adult and pediatric programs.
Mr. Arroyo’s commitment to the field is deeply personal, inspired by a family member with Down syndrome and his long-standing dedication to improving access to high-quality, community-based supports. He previously held a Massage Therapy license and has worked with individuals with Autism, Cerebral Palsy, and Spina Bifida.
