Mrs. Arroyo is a Licensed Mental Health Counselor and Board‑Certified Behavior Analyst with over two decades of experience supporting individuals with developmental disabilities and mental health needs. After earning her Master’s in Rehabilitation Counseling from Virginia Commonwealth University in 1998, she moved to Florida and began her career providing counseling to children with significant emotional and behavioral challenges.
She joined Helping Hands, Inc. in 2003, where she delivered comprehensive Behavior Analysis services for individuals with Autism, Intellectual Disabilities, and other developmental needs. Her work initially focused on adults, later expanding to children in 2016. In 2020, she and her husband opened their first ABA clinic, later expanding to a larger location in 2021. Her responsibilities included clinic operations, staff supervision, parent training, and conducting assessments. Beyond Behavior Analysis, she has treated children with ADHD, Oppositional Defiant Disorder, and Mood Disorders, and she serves as a Florida Qualified Supervisor for Registered Mental Health Counselor Interns. Dedicated to high‑quality care for individuals and families, she joined Behavior Basics, Inc. in January 2026, bringing deep expertise and a strong clinical background to the team.
